Adrian Peterson Video: Watch Vikings Superstar Dominate Panthers Defense

The Minnesota Vikings may only have one win (they might get their second today), but at least Adrian Peterson is playing great football.

The league's leading rusher hasn't been perfect this season, but he continues to come up big when the Vikings need him most.

Unfortunately, that hasn't been very often.

Since Christian Ponder replaced Donovan McNabb, things have been different, though.

The Vikings have been in each of the games he's started, and they might even get a win today.

On a 1st-and-goal from the nine-yard line, Peterson took a carry to the right, cut back left with a jump step and found himself in the second level of the defense.

He then destroyed Carolina's safety with another jump cut left.

The move forced Sherrod Martin to lunge for Peterson, and he wound up being dragged and spun away from by "All Day" Peterson.

The Vikings running back scored his second touchdown of the game on the play.

Minnesota's future looks much, much brighter with Ponder under center.

The rookie quarterback has turned Peterson into a top target out of the backfield again as well.

The only question you can ask about this latest development is why did the Vikings wait so long?

Their season is almost all but lost, yet they have a lot to look forward to.

Peterson continues to be the most dominant running back in all of the NFL and is on his way to a league rushing title this year despite a mediocre offensive line.
