Percy Harvin Injury: Why Vikings WR Will Explode vs. Panthers

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Percy Harvin will play Sunday against the Carolina Panthers despite dealing with a rib injury this week and having been listed as questionable on the team's injury report.

Harvin will have a great game against the Panthers today, and should be started on fantasy football teams too.

The Panthers defense is not very good, and Harvin is a dynamic threat who will be involved in both the Vikings passing an rushing attacks this week.

Harvin is tied with wide receiver Michael Jenkins for the team lead in receptions with 27, and has 227 yards receiving.

He has also rushed the ball 16 times, racking up 166 yards for an impressive 10.4 yards per carry average.Harvin's great speed and playmaking ability make him difficult for defenses to defend and game-plan for, and against a Panthers team with very few talented players on defense, Harvin will explode for a monster game.

The Panthers defense is giving up about 225 yards passing and 133.4 rushing yards per game, which means the Vikings offense will have a huge day today, and Harvin will be a major reason why.
