College Football Predictions Week 10: BCS Bowl Projections

B/R StudiosFeatured ColumnistOctober 30, 2011

Nine weeks into the college football season, and the BCS picture is beginning to clear up. As we head down the stretch, several teams appear to have a chance at undefeated seasons.

But will it be good enough to land a spot in the BCS National Championship Game? Heading into this weekend's clash with No. 2 Alabama, LSU leads a crowded field of BCS contenders.

If the Tigers can muster enough offense in Tuscaloosa, a spot in the national title game seems inevitable. On the other side of the country, Stanford survived a courageous effort by the USC Trojans to stay perfect on the season.

Andrew Luck and the Cardinal are rolling toward the title game, with only the No. 7 Oregon Ducks standing in the way.

After the shocking loss to Georgia Tech, Clemson still looks like the best team in the ACC. But will the Tigers finish 2011 without another loss?

Finally, Boise State and Oklahoma could meet again in the Fiesta Bowl. The Broncos are still a bit of a long-shot, but Bob Stoops has his team headed for the BCS. Will the Broncos have enough traction in the polls to avoid a no-name bowl? Only time will tell.
