NFL Picks Week 8: The Chiefs and the Underdog Teams Who'll Win in Week 8

Week 8 of the 2011 NFL season is full of matchups where possible upsets are ripe and ready.

Here are the Kansas City Chiefs and the three teams that will shock the NFL with wins in Week 8.

Denver Broncos

With Denver Broncos fans finally getting what they asked for—a start for QB Tim Tebow and a comeback victory last week—Tebow and the Broncos will look to gain more momentum this week against the Detroit Lions.

The Lions are one of the league's worst rush-defense teams, and with Tebow's ability to scramble, with Knowshon Moreno always a threat, the rushing game is the major key to a Broncos victory this week.

The Lions are far better at their pass defense. Tebow will have to be careful throwing some of the passes he got away with last week, as they won't fly against the Lions and will lead to turnovers.

Jacksonville Jaguars

As bad as the Jacksonville Jaguars are on offense, they are very tough on defense. This was made painfully evident in their 12-7 win last week against the Baltimore Ravens.

Look for much of the same this week against the Houston Texans, as the Jaguars are fully capable of holding Arian Foster and Matt Schaub at bay.

The Jags are the sixth- and 11th-ranked pass and rush defense respectively, but they will need to be able to put up some points on the Texans defense.

Kansas City Chiefs

The Kansas City Chiefs seem to have gotten themselves on the right track and are hosting the AFC West-leading San Diego Chargers on Monday night.

With the Chargers star quarterback, Phillip Rivers, looking a little off this season, the Chiefs have a big opportunity to gain on their win over the Oakland Raiders last week with a win over the Chargers this week.

Look for the running game to be key on the offensive side for the Chiefs. Their running back duo of Jackie Battle and Dexter McCluster are primed to have a big game against the 21st-ranked Chargers rush defense.
