Week 8 Start 'Em, Sit 'Em: Brandon Lloyd and Stars You'd Be Foolish to Start
Deciding who to start and who to sit on your fantasy football team are typically the hardest decisions you'll make each week, and in Week 8 of the NFL season there are several star players who should be benched.
Stars such as Brandon Lloyd of the St. Louis Rams should not be started this week because they either have a bad matchup against a talented defense or they're not performing well this season.
Let's look at three stars who should remain on your bench this week.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Chris Johnson has been the biggest disappointment of the NFL season thus far, and has upset fantasy football owners more than any other player.
Through six games, Johnson has just 268 rushing yards and is averaging just 2.9 yards per carry. That is terrible for one of football's premier players, and for someone who received a large multi-year contract before the season started.
Johnson was benched by his own team last week in a 41-7 loss to the Houston Texans, and there's no reason you should not bench him too.
BenJarvus Green-Ellis
New England Patriots running back BenJarvus Green-Ellis is questionable with a toe injury (as of Oct. 28) for Sunday's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, and is not a smart start this week.
The Steelers defense has been very good this season, and even if fully healthy, it's unlikely that Green-Ellis would top 100 yards rushing. He's only rushed for 100 yards once in his last four games.
Do not start Green-Ellis this week unless you need to because you have players on bye weeks.
Brandon Lloyd
With the current quarterback mess for the St. Louis Rams, Brandon Lloyd will not be effective this week against the New Orleans Saints.
The best way for the Rams to shock the Saints on Sunday is if star running back Steven Jackson has an amazing game.
Lloyd will not go over 100 receiving yards, and it's also unlikely he will score a touchdown. Do not start him this week.
