3. Ben Roethlisberger (Pittsburgh Steelers)
One of the most intriguing matchups this weekend is the game between the top two teams in the AFC.
The New England Patriots travel to Pittsburgh to take on the Steelers who have really gotten things going in recent weeks.
Right now Ben Roethlisberger is playing the best football of his career. Combine that with a matchup against the 32nd ranked pass defense in the league, and you have the makings of a big game.
This one will be a shootout.
Prediction: 300 yards, three touchdowns.
2. Tom Brady (New England Patriots)
Ben Roethlisberger may be playing like a top-five quarterback, but Tom Brady is playing like a top-two quarterback.
The Steelers may have the best passing defense in the league, but history tells us that won't stop Brady from tearing them apart.
Brady and Belichick had the bye week to prepare and the Patriots have won eight straight off of bye weeks.
The Patriots also have a history of picking apart the Pittsburgh secondary.
Prediction: 325 yards, three touchdowns.
1. Cam Newton (Carolina Panthers)
Rookie sensation Cam Newton will face off in possibly his most favorable matchup so far this season.
The Panthers are really starting to click with Newton at quarterback, and improvement is being shown every single week.
Minnesota's offense matches up well against the Carolina defense, and Carolina's offense matches up well against the Minnesota defense.
This one will come down to the wire and Newton will be asked to win it with his arm.
Prediction: 310 yards, three touchdowns, 40 rushing yards, one touchdown.
