NFL Week 8 Picks: Who Will Put Up Most Points in Victory?
Forget all the old-school guys telling you they remember when "real football" was played, and games ended with 9-6 scores.
That's not for me.
It's 2011—I want 253-yard rushing games, scores in the 40s and quarterbacks throwing the ball 60 times a games.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Week 8 should give us some of that, or something close to it, hopefully.
Which teams will put up the most points in victory this week?
Carolina Panthers
I've been predicting an exciting Panthers victory in a shootout all week, and I'm sticking to it. Cam Newton is slowly but surely transcending the quarterback position with his surprising accuracy, cannon arm and Vick-like elusiveness and speed outside of the pocket.
The Vikings have the 28th-ranked pass defense and I totally expect the future Rookie of the Year to have another monster day.
A few touchdown passes and couple touchdown scampers for Newton.
Carolina could get close to 40 points at home.
New Orleans Saints
With the way the schedule was set, the Saints could make history in a variety of offensive categories for a two-game stretch.
They dropped 62 on the winless Colts last week, Drew Brees threw five touchdown passes with no interceptions and they ran for 236 yards as a team.
Imagine what they're going to do against the worst run defense in football and the rest of the winless St. Louis Rams defense in another dome.
Look out.
New York Giants
Yes, the Dolphins were stout last week against the Broncos for 55 minutes.
But then they made Tim Tebow look like Steve Young and made Brandon Fells look like Shannon Sharpe.
What's up with that?
Off their bye week, the Giants are more healthy than they've been in a while, and their receiving corp is just a little bit more talented than what Denver has to offer.
Big Blue will win big this week and score a lot of points in the process.
