Indianapolis Colts vs. Tennessee Titans: Spread Info, Line and Predictions

Andrew KulhaOct 28, 2011

There was a time when a matchup between the Indianapolis Colts and the Tennessee Titans would have been a blow out in favor of the Colts, but that was when Peyton Manning was healthy and under center.

With Manning out, the Colts are coming into this game with an abysmal 0-7 record, going 0-4 on the road.

That's why the Titans have to feel pretty good that they are hosting this game, and there is no doubt that they need a win at 3-3 and a game behind the Houston Texans.

With the downfall of the Colts, the AFC South is unusually wide-open for the taking, so every win counts.

Where: LP Field, Nashville, Tenn.

When: Sunday, Oct. 30. 1 p.m. EST

Watch: CBS

Spread: Tennessee Titans -9

This is an interesting spread because even though the Colts are horrible, they can put up points.

Over/Under: 43.5

This is a rather low over, but these teams aren't that good.

Key Injuries:

Colts: Quarterback Peyton Manning out (neck), guard Joe Reitz out (knee), running back Joseph Addai questionable (hamstring), tackle Anthony Castonzo questionable (ankle), guard Ryan Diem questionable (ankle), defensive end Dwight Freeney questionable (knee), punter Pat McAfee questionable (hamstring), defensive tackle Drake Devis questionable (back), center Mike Pollak questionable (hamstring), linebacker Kavell Conner questionable (knee), linebacker A.J. Edds questionable (consussion), tight end Brody Eldridge questionable (knee), wide receiver Anthony Gonzalez questionable (groin), tight end Jacob Tamme questionable (concussion), linebacker Pat Angerer questionable (knee), guard Seth Olsen questionable (hand).

Titans: Safety Chris Hope out (forearm), linebacker Colin McCarthy out (hamstring), tight end Craig Stevens did not practice (rib), quarterback Matt Hasselbeck probable (thumb).

Fantasy Big Plays:

Start: Hasselbeck should be able to put up some very big numbers against the Colts defense.

Sit: Wide receiver Reggie Wayne barely gets any looks with Painter under center.

Keys to Colts Win:

If Curtis Painter can put together a game where he actually looks at a receiver other than Pierre Garcon, than maybe the Colts can string together a rally of scores.

Keys to Titans Win:

Chris Johnson needs to get out of this funk that he's been in, and I can't think of a better team to do it against than the Colts.

Prediction:

I'm not sure if the Colts will win a game this year.

Titans: 24 Colts: 10
