Week 8 Start 'Em, Sit 'Em: Mario Manningham, Anquan Boldin and More Safe Plays
Every now and then as a fantasy football owner, it's okay to make a few safe plays.
Big trades, bold starts and sleeper picks seem to get all the hype in fantasy football, but it's the safe moves that get you wins.
Sure, any sleeper can go off for 40 points in any given week, but it's the guys you know will consistently score each week who are of true value.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
I'd take three players who get me 10 points in every game over one player who sporadically gets me 30.
With that in mind, here are three players who are safe stars this weekend:
Anquan Boldin, WR Ravens
Given his overall production this year, Boldin may not seem like the safest play. However, I urge you to take a look at the matchup and circumstances coming into this game.
The Ravens are coming off a horrible loss to the Jaguars on Monday Night Football, and they've got a home matchup against a terrible Cardinals secondary. Boldin is not only a safe start, he's a good start.
Mario Manningham, WR Giants
The Giants have the good fortune of playing the poor Miami Dolphins at home.
The Dolphins defense is absolutely atrocious. Eli Manning should have a monster game, which also means that his No. 2 receiver, Manningham, should haul in at least one score.
DeMarco Murray, RB Cowboys
Don't expect Murray to have another record-breaking day—expect another good day as he goes against the Eagles' anemic run defense.
He's quick, he's got great vision and he just might be the Cowboys' guy moving into the future. He's got to be your guy as well.
