Serie A Preview: Juventus Look to Halt Inter Revival and More
After making a poor start to the season, Roma recently showed signs of recovery. However, that seems to have evaporated after defeats against Lazio and Genoa. Still, it is a situation that they could yet make something of, considering that table-leaders Juventus have not run away with the title.
Only a five-point gap exists between the two sides, and Roma can certainly close the gap with an impressive performance against Milan. One of the main aspects that favour Roma in this matchup is the poor away form of their opponents. Massimiliano Allegri's men have taken just one win out of their last five.

However, that one win alone will be more than sufficient to provide AC Milan with the necessary confidence to take on Roma. It was a match in which Milan came back from being three goals down to Lecce to win it spectacularly by scoring four.
It has also kept Milan in contention for the title, with leaders Juventus now just two points ahead.
While Milan also have a midweek Champions League match to concentrate on, it is unlikely to defer them from the job at hand. That is, keeping up with or catching Juventus.
Inter Milan have been showing signs of recovery following their disastrous start to the season.
The draw with Atalanta and the win over Chievo have put them just above the relegation zone. Claudio Ranieri has gone about his business silently and without making too much noise. However, his biggest test will come in the form of this weekend's visitors Juventus.
The Turin-based team made a great start to the season, but have been faltering of late. With just two wins in their last six matches, their position at the top of the table is coming under threat from the likes of AC Milan and Udinese.
Furthermore, with just one away win this season, Juventus have a lot of work to do before they can relax. For all the talk about their poor start to the campaign, Inter at least have a good record at home. The team have suffered just one defeat at the San Siro this season.
Still, it is nowhere near the standard that Inter Milan have set in the past.
Even so, the biggest advantage that Inter will have over Juventus will be that the game is at home. They must make the most of that advantage, and Inter could well find themselves clear of the drop zone.
