TNA: 8 Reasons Why James Storm's Title Win Will Change TNA Forever

Should we be sorry about James Storm's bad luck?

Maybe. The turn of events that have taken place over the past few weeks on Impact have proven a few things about the brand and how the course of history will forever be altered by an injury, a proven commodity and a legend who still thinks he knows everything.

I'll let you guys figure it all out on your own about that last statement.

The fact is that because Storm won in such a uncomfortable fashion (I did not know what other word to use in this situation), it left us wondering and hoping for something more.

Well, we are getting that this week, whether we like the situation or not.

Alteration in wrestling is commonplace. How it comes about is the disturbing part, and how it all plays out—well, that is left to the fans and the IWC to deal with.

Storm is a great performer, a great mic man and one heck of a good show if given the chance to be on his own, which is going to happen.

But because of the changing of the guard two weeks ago, Impact will be altered from now on.

8. It Was Too Sudden

I realize Kurt Angle was injured and needed to drop the belt. But to have it done that way means there was never any real consideration about the injury in the first place.

Bad planning on the part of the creative team.

Bound for Glory was pretty good, but having Roode win the belt would have been better.

7. It Means Storm and Roode Will Have an Epic Feud

Don't be sorry about their damn luck on this one.

Everyone wants to see this.

Two friends becoming foes and tearing the house down.

6. Hulk Hogan Continues to Get What He Wants

Hogan will see to it that when Storm drops the title to Roode, Jeff Hardy is right there in the thick of things.

Hardy is Hogan's home-picked boy to carry the company.

Not many agree with this choice and think others deserve a shot.

So do I.

5. It Still Leaves AJ Styles in Limbo

He has been bashing the company on Twitter and he has a right to.

He is the heart and soul of this company.

Will he get a shot at glory or will "the man" continue to being him down?

4. This Creates New Rivalries

Roode is the closest thing to an Arn Anderson I have seen.

He had many great rivalries in the business over the years.

Will every member of Fortune feud with him?

And would someone like a Christopher Daniels befriend him?

3. This Shakes Up Immortal

Will Immortal stick its nose in the title reign of either Storm or Roode?

We don't see Storm doing anything other than keeping himself with his Fortune buddies.

Will Immortal now recruit Roode?

2. Who Will Join Fortune?

There has to be someone to fill the gap.

If someone turns heel, someone needs to turn face.

Or, someone you would not think of joining the fray steps in.

Jeff Hardy?

Mr. Anderson?

The Pope?

1. What Happens to the Tag Team Division?

It's weak right now.

It needs a push and Beer Money won't be getting back in the picture anytime soon.

Do we see Alex Shelley and James Storm?

What about AJ Styles and Rob Van Damn?

Jerry Lynn and Christopher Daniels?

All great opportunities for new challenges.
