NFL Week 8 Picks: Which Troubled Teams Will Get Overdue Wins?
Getting an overdue win can provide a team with a big sense of relief and take some weighted pressure off their shoulders.
It can also be the catalyst to a new beginning, which could ultimately increase a team's chances in the playoff race (provided the win comes soon enough).
Luckily for these following three teams, we're just entering the midway point of the season.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Detroit Lions (at Denver)
The Lions are coming off two straight home losses, and haven't won since Oct. 10 against Chicago.
This week the Lions will travel to the Mile High City in a battle of wits. The Broncos need a win to stay alive in the wide-open AFC West, while Detroit needs a victory to try and keep pace with the Packers and be able to fend off the Bears in the NFC North.
That said, you know the Lions are coming into this game with an attitude. Not only do they want to shut down Tim Tebow, but they are more desperate for a win.
Detroit will get the win here thanks to a stout defense that will get pressure on Tebow and an offense that will explode over a weak Broncos pass defense.

Tennessee Titans (vs Indianapolis)
It's a game that Tennessee needs to win if they want to avoid being immediately lumped-in with the worst of the league's worst.
Their last win came against the Browns in Cleveland on Oct. 2, and since then their offense has only scored 24 points while the defense has allowed 79.
Luckily, the Music City gets to host the 0-7 Colts who appear to have lost all confidence. All that remains is just the physicality of their "being."
The Titans will win at home as RB Chris Johnson get going on the ground for the second time this season and finally has a solid game (inconsistent thanks to his holdout no less). The defense will feed off forcing turnovers.

Buffalo Bills (vs Washington)
Although the Bills are only riding a one-game losing streak, it has felt like forever since they've won. After the road loss to the Giants in Week 6, Buffalo had a bye in Week 7 to think things through.
Their last win came over the Eagles at home in Week 5, but they have lost two of their last three.
But all that will change for the better in Week 8 when they play the receding Redskins, who are not only suffering from injuries, but are falling from grace after starting 3-1.
Washington has trouble scoring and they are prone to turnovers, which is the Bills' only defensive strength. They've forced a total of 16 turnovers.
The Bills offensive is explosive enough to get some points despite the Redskins' respectable defense, mainly because Buffalo's defense will help by forcing numerous turnovers.
