Andre Johnson Injury: Texans Star WR Shouldn't Rush Back To Face Lowly Jaguars
Andre Johnson had better not rush back from injury to play the Jacksonville Jaguars.
What would the point of that be?
There isn’t one.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Sure the Jaguars just pulled off a huge upset against the Baltimore Ravens, but that doesn’t make them contenders in the AFC South.
It’s still a two-horse race between the Houston Texans and Tennessee Titans that the Texans are winning and should continue to dominate with or without Johnson.
Houston easily handled its business against Tennessee last week behind monster games from Arian Foster and Ben Tate.
Jacksonville has a decent rushing defense, ranked tenth in the league right now, but it has faced some pretty unspectacular running backs during the first seven games.
The Jags also got lucky that Baltimore decided to forget Ray Rice was playing at times and only gave him eight carries. They would have lost that game had Rice had consistent touches on the ball.
Houston is also absolutely fine against poor-to-mediocre teams like Jacksonville without Johnson. Look what Schaub did last week against Tennessee.
He went 18 of 23 passing for 296 yards and a touchdown. He spread the ball around to Kevin Walter, Owen Daniels, Jacoby Jones, Joel Dreessen and Foster.
Their defense also made plays on veteran Matt Hasselbeck, forcing two picks one of which they returned for a late touchdown.
Just think of what they will be able to do to rookie Blaine Gabbert, who is only completing 48.3 percent of his passes and is very prone to mistakes.
So Andre Johnson, don’t worry about playing, your team has your back.
Johnson went through the motions in practice today but said he didn’t feel that great.
""If I feel the way I feel today, I probably won't play Sunday, but today is not Sunday," Johnson said, according to the Chronicle. "We still have some days ahead of us that we have to work through."
"
Go ahead and take the week off Andre, your team needs you healthy for the playoffs, not a midseason game against Jacksonville.
