Week 8 Fantasy Football Projections: Michael Vick, Cam Newton and Top Scorers
As the end of the first half of the NFL regular season draws near, fans are appreciative of some of the most outstanding performances by individual players this year, especially if they have them on their fantasy team.
As each week goes on, it's no longer a surprise for one player to score 30 or more fantasy points in a single game.
The trick is to figure out which players will dominate on Sunday. There will always be a few guys you wouldn't expect, but big fantasy days are just the norm for the elite players.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
With that said, here are my projections for the top three scorers of Week 8.
The Philadelphia Eagles host the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday night, and Vick is going to steal the show. Vick has to play his best game yet because the Eagles are in a must-win situation.
They ended their losing streak two weeks ago, and after resting up during their bye week, the Eagles are ready to bring it against Dallas. Vick will have a monster performance with his arm and his legs in route to a great victory over the Eagles most hated rivals.
DeSean Jackson, Jeremy Maclin and LeSean McCoy will all help the Eagles win, but it will be Vick who scores the most touchdowns to claim the top spot among fantasy players.
It doesn't matter who is throwing the ball to Johnson, he is going to catch it. Matthew Stafford is looking doubtful, as he will likely be a game time decision, but it won't stop Johnson from having a great performance.
The Lions are taking on the Broncos, who happen to rank 19th in the league against the pass. They're not the worst, but they're still going to have a hard time slowing Johnson down.
Often times, Stafford just throws the deep ball and Johnson brings it in, so as long as Shaun Hill puts it up for Johnson, he will bring it in.
If indeed Stafford is out, as well as Jahvid Best, the offense turns to Johnson, and Megatron isn't going to let the team down. He's been the best wide receiver in fantasy football so far this year, and that trend will continue on Sunday afternoon.
Cam Newton
The rookie QB has been a fantasy star this season, which is what most NFL fans only care about it. They couldn't care less if Newton is winning games or not, just as long as he is producing, and he certainly will on Sunday.
The Panthers host the Minnesota Vikings, who rank 30th in the league against the pass. With the help of Steve Smith, Newton will take care of business through the air, and he will also get it done on the ground.
Dual threat QBs are always solid fantasy options, especially when they're up against a struggling team. Newton is bound to find the end zone multiple ways on Sunday, and his fantasy owners will rejoice as he helps lead them to a win.
Rounding out the top five for most fantasy points of Week 8 are Mike Wallace of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Adrian Peterson of the Vikings. Both take on subpar defenses, and they'll excel at what they do best.
