Make No Mistake: The Cavs Are Really Good

Say what you will about the C's and the Lakers. The best basketball in the league right now is being played by THE CLEVELAND CAVALIERS.

Facts are facts, two winning streaks of eight games or better in their first 21 games, 13.62 average margin of victory, 12-0 home record, suffocating defense, smoldering offense, arguably the best player in the league, firepower comming off of the bench, head coach who makes players accountable, and players who not only get it, but are buying into the team philosophy on both ends of the floor.

What more can you ask for? Hate em or love em, you have to admit no team in the league is playing more consistant, and well balanced basketball through the first quarter of the NBA schedule.

L.A. has had their struggles Boston's been pushed on several occasions it seems that all the usual suspects are dealing with somewhat of a down time right now the Spurs, Hornets, Mavs, and Jazz, have all stumbled out of the gate. and don't even get me started on Detroit.

How do you cut off your head and replace it with a gun? I mean don't get me wrong AI is one of the greatest to ever play the game, but Chauncey was the engine that kept that machine in the motor city purring, with Iverson running things that well oiled machine that has made it to six consecutive eastern conference finals is putting badly and leaking oil. 

All the while TheBron or (TheBraun as I like to call him) Has barely even broken a sweat. Are there any another teams in the league sitting out their superstar in the fourth quarter on a regular basis? Are there any other teams who are crushing opponents by double digits with its superstar putting up a line like 11 pts 11 assists and eight boards?

Cavs fans don't listen to the talking heads, they would have you believe that the Cavs are only benifitting from a cushy schedule, and that is just not the case the Cavs are playing the same teams that everyone else has to play. They are holding teams and players below there scoring averages by playing great team defense.

And on the offensive end their taking care of the basketball and enforcing their will on teams with crisp passing, good floor spacing, constant ball movement and great shot  selection. That my friends is no fluke.
