Biggest Storyline: Will AC Milan win again in Belarus?

After defeating BATE in Italy, it's going to be a bit more difficult for Milan to knock off BATE on the road.

Milan can deliver a knockout punch to BATE and lock up their spot in the next round with a victory in Belarus.

The Italians dominated possession the last time out as they controlled the ball for 60 percent of the game, but failed to get shots on target.

If they can put the ball on target in this match, they should have no problem coming away with a victory.

Player to Watch for AC Milan: Zlatan Ibrahimovic

It is no secret that Ibrahimovic is one of the best players in the world.

He is an elite striker, and proved that in his last performance against BATE. He put the team ahead in the 33rd minute, and they never looked back.

If Milan is going to come away with another victory, they need Ibrahimovic to be on his game.

Player to Watch for BATE: Aleksandr Gutor

Gutor was only called upon to make five saves in the last match, but he still let two balls into the back of the net.

It's tough to blame him, but BATE is going to need him to be on his A-game in this one once again.

One goal could be enough to doom BATE, but if Gutor can make a couple big saves, it may be just enough to spark a heroic effort in Belarus.

Key Matchup: Milan attack vs. BATE defense

BATE's defense did a solid job of allowing just five shots on target last game, but they allowed a total of 28 attempts. They need to cut down on the number of chances that AC Milan was given, and need to do a better job of keeping the ball away from Ibrahimovic.

Milan is going to win this game comfortably if BATE's defense doesn't rise to the occasion.

What They're Saying:

According to ESPN, Milan midfielder Gennaro Gattuso is hoping to return to the pitch soon despite being blind in his left eye.

He was left without any vision in his left eye after colliding with teammate Alessandro Nesta.

"Football is my life. I'm a lucky man. Three weeks ago doctors told me there was a chance I might never play again, but now they are saying that is not the case and I will fight hard to return.

For a while I was seriously scared about my health and worried for my life. But now I have undergone several tests I'm calmer. It'll take more than this to beat me. The important thing is to not give up.

"

If Gattuso were able to return to the pitch it would be a miraculous story. It would be even more incredible if he were able to perform at a high level.

He won't be in the lineup in this match, bu it's certainly something to keep an eye on going forward.
