NFL Power Rankings Week 8: Miami Dolphins and Teams with No Hope of Moving Up
Even though the NFL season has yet to reach its midway point, several teams' seasons are effectively over. The only thing to keep fans interested for the next couple months will be the Andrew Luck sweepstakes.
Here are three teams that won't be moving up the power rankings any time soon.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The Colts organization has been one of the model franchises in the league over the past decade, but what happened on Sunday night was an embarrassment. While I wouldn't go as far as saying they quit, it didn't seem like they were giving 100 percent, especially after falling behind so quickly.
Being without Peyton Manning has exposed the many holes Indianapolis needs to fix to reach the pinnacle again. As for this season, while the Colts will eventually win a game or two, Bill Polian and the rest of the front office might have a difficult decision to make concerning Luck.
Even with Manning on the roster, it's hard to pass up on the type of prospect that comes around once per decade.
Arizona Cardinals
Hopes were high in Arizona after the team traded for Kevin Kolb to rejuvenate an offense that was so powerful under Kurt Warner. However, the experiment hasn't worked as planned, with Kolb throwing just as many interceptions as touchdowns.
He's far from the only problem, though. The defense ranks near the bottom in both points and yards allowed and the running game is about to take a big blow if Beanie Wells misses time. In other words, Arizona doesn't have much that is going right.
Other than two games against the Rams, which will be toss-ups, it will tough sledding for the Cardinals.
Miami Dolphins
Miami's first win of the season was within reach before the Dolphins allowed Tim Tebow to mount a fourth-quarter comeback. The defense is a mess and there probably isn't a team in the league that could use Luck more than Miami.
The Dolphins aren't completely devoid of talent. Daniel Thomas and Brandon Marshall are solid building blocks on offense while Cameron Wake is the edge rusher every defense needs. That said, they lack the depth necessary to keep up in the tough AFC East.
If anybody needs to “suck for Luck,” it's the team from South Beach, where they are really missing LeBron and D-Wade right now.
