Fantasy Football Week 8: Tim Tebow and Waiver-Wire Pickups You'll Regret
While hitting the waiver wire is one of the most important parts as a fantasy owner, it’s also important to know when not to make the move that could sink your team.
Certain risks are worth taking in fantasy football, but the following players don’t have the security that you want for a potential starter.
Unless you have a player on IR or a complete dud on your bench, I would do my best to avoid overpaying for these waiver-wire pickups.

Colts Release Kenny Moore

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The Broncos are in a transitional period to say the least, and I am not convinced that John Fox and John Elway want Tim Tebow as the quarterback of the future in Denver.
They have not catered the offense to him, and instead of ensuring his success by playing to his strengths, they have set him up for failure.
And Tebow will fail if he has to pass the ball to win games.
DeMarco Murray
The only way that this pickup works is if you need the running back from the Dallas Cowboys for just one week. When Felix Jones comes back, he will be the starter.
The Dallas Cowboys are a proud organization, and they paid Felix Jones to be their starting running back. They will force-feed him the ball out of pride. Murray will be relegated back to five to seven carries a game.
Jake Ballard
The New York Giants are playing a terrible Miami Dolphins team that can’t stop opposing offenses, but they can cover tight ends.
While Ballard is a solid option moving forward, unless you are in a deeper league there are many better options than Jake Ballard left on the waiver wire.
Look for a guy like Jermaine Gresham over Jake Ballard if you need a tight end.
