Arsenal Player Ratings v. Wigan Athletic

Manuel Almunia (6) A great save that kept Arsenal's confidences up but at times was very shaky.

Bacary Sagna (7.5) Arsenal certainly have missed their reliable French right back in recent weeks. A solid game with some fine tackles and intercepts

Johan Djourou (8) Great game, a number of solid tackles. Should have been first choice at the start of the season

Kolo Toure (7) His first game back from injury and he did a solid job against the Wigan attack.

Gael Clichy (6.5) A few bold tackles but not his best game, did attack rather well at times.

Samir Nasri (6.5) It hurt Arsenal when their left winger was forced off with an ankle injury as he looked very damaging down the left side.

Alexandre Song (7) He is starting to get better and he is growing in confidence. Not a bad game by the Cameroonian.

Cesc Fabregas (8) Was brilliant at times setting up a load of chances for his forwards.

Denilson (6.5) He is not a winger but didn't do too badly despite being muscled out at times. A lovely long range effort unluckily smashed into the post.

Robin van Persie (7.5) Hoping for the kind of impact the Dutchman had against Chelsea but it wasn't the same. Missed a great chance on goal but at times was extremely dangerous and was unlucky on a few occasions.

Emmanuel Adebayor (8) A lovely goal and hit the post with a superb shot.

Substitutes

Emmanuel Eboue (5) Started the game okay but as it grew on he got worse and worse. Did not deserve the boos though.
