NFL Fact or Fiction: Dallas Cowboys Will Face Pittsburgh Steelers in Super Bowl
The Dallas Cowboys have to feel good about last week’s performance by DeMarco Murray. With a solid running game on the horizon and star receivers Miles Austin and Dez Bryant healthy, the Cowboys are headed in the right direction for a return to the Promised Land.
But is it enough?
Tony Romo has always been a quarterback who puts up Pro Bowl numbers in the regular season and seems to disappear in big games. Romo has been the center of media attention for his play in big games and his romantic exploits since he started for the Cowboys. He may have the best assortment of young talent he’s had in a while on offense, as he has Austin, Bryant and Witten to throw to, and DeMarco Murray coming out of the backfield.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Can Tony Romo take advantage of the weapons they have this year and lead his team deep into the playoffs?
The Pittsburgh Steelers are looking to return to the Super Bowl after falling to the Packers last season. The Steelers once again boast one of the best defenses in the NFL, and are enjoying a standout season from wide receiver Mike Wallace. They are 5-2 right now as they head into New England on Sunday. Could the Steelers be the team to represent the AFC in the Super Bowl?
Here is the concern with the Steelers. Right now, the Steelers have not beaten a team with a winning record, with their two losses coming over Baltimore and Houston. The second half of the season is still favorable for the Steelers but they will be challenged against New England, Baltimore, a resurgent Cincinnati and San Francisco. The Steelers do have the potential to go deep into the playoffs, but they will be heavily tested during these four games.
In reality, I would say that it’s fiction that these two teams face each other. The word is still out on the Steelers, and the second half will reveal whether or not this team can go the distance.
For the Cowboys, I believe that the NFC has clearer cut leaders at the top of the conference. The Cowboys have good potential, but I’m not sure they can get by Detroit, New Orleans or an unbeaten Green Bay (whom I’m starting to wonder if anyone can beat). The Cowboys have good talent on the offensive side of the ball, but I don’t see them winning with Romo or against the other powers of the NFC.
This prediction is fiction.
