NFL Power Rankings Week 8: Eagles and Teams That Will Soar into the Top 15

Nicholas GossOct 26, 2011

The Philadelphia Eagles have a massive NFC East showdown with the Dallas Cowboys this week, and when Michael Vick and the Eagles beat Dallas, they will move into the top 15 of my NFL power rankings.

There are other teams who will soar into the top 15 this week.

Let's see who they are.

Houston Texans

After a dominating win against the Tennessee Titans last week, the Houston Texans are in first place in the AFC South division, and they won't give that position up.

The Texans offense is once again on fire, and the rushing game, led by Arian Foster and Ben Tate, gives them the most balanced offense in the NFL.

The Texans will get another big-time win against the Jacksonville Jaguars this week.

Philadelphia Eagles

The Philadelphia Eagles' rushing attack is the best in the NFL statistically, and star running back LeSean McCoy will lead the Eagles offense over the Dallas Cowboys this week in an important NFC East matchup.

With the win, the Eagles will save their season and move back into the division race.

The Washington Redskins will beat the Buffalo Bills on Sunday and halt their losing streak.

With the win over Buffalo, the Redskins could move back into first place in the NFC East if the New York Giants lose to the Miami Dolphins, but that probably will not happen.

Regardless, the Washington defense will contain Bills running back Fred Jackson and force quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick to beat them.
