Hope Solo Dancing with the Stars: Judges Unfairly Rip Hope's Latest Performance

There is a conspiracy against Hope Solo!

Okay not really, but what’s the deal with the harsh criticism Dancing With the Stars judge Len Goodman completely ripping her on Monday’s episode?

Her performance garnered a 20-out-of-30 and this nasty comment from Goodman:

“This is your worst dance of the whole season."

Ouch.

The noticeably shocked Solo quickly got some support from dance partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy, as he attempted to get the crowd to start booing.

Goodman didn’t take to kindly, shouting back “Half the fault is yours."

Buuuurn.

After some more bickering, Chmerkovskiy essentially said he shouldn’t be so judgmental…to a guy that gets paid to offer his judgments.

Lost in all of this is the confidence level of Hope.

Considering how prominent of an athlete she is, she doesn’t exactly have ice in her veins.

She tends to get rattled when things don’t go right on the dance floor and is visibly shaken when the judges give her a bad score.

While her performance on Monday wasn’t terrific, it was far from the debacle that she posted early on in the show's 13th season.      

I believe she has continued to improve each and every week and the fact that a judge decided to rip her so harshly tells me that maybe the DWTS has had enough of Solo. Getting Solo rattled and knocking her confidence down even farther could be a death blow as this contest really begins to heat up.

Yet she keeps advancing and it will be interesting to see how Goodman reacts to her next performance, regardless of how it goes.

I’ll bet you whatever the score is, Chmerkovskiy will have something outlandish to say.
