BYU vs. TCU: TV Schedule, Live Streaming, Radio, Game Time and More

Andrew KulhaOct 25, 2011

There was a point and time when a game between the Brigham Young Cougars and TCU Horned Frogs would have been the matchup of the week in college football.

While that's not true this year, this will still be a great game between 6-2 BYU and 5-2 TCU.

BYU is on top of the Independents rankings and is looking to be the top dog when all is said and done. TCU is a game ahead of Boise State in the Mountain West, and will need this game to stay in contention with the No. 4 team in the nation.

While this is not the superstar matchup that it once was, Friday night's contest is still going to be an incredible game with tons of implications.

Where: Cowboys Stadium, Arlington, TX

When: Friday Oct. 28 8:00 p.m. EDT

Watch: ESPN, ESPN 3

Listen: KSL Newsradio 103.7 FM and 1160am Utah; 103.3 FM ESPN Texas

Stream: byucougars.com; gofrogs.com

Betting Line (Bodog.com): TCU -13

Key Storyline: The Horned Frogs are ahead of No. 4 Boise State in the Mountain West Conference because they have played one more game in the conference. They need to keep winning if they want their shot at the Broncos to mean anything.

Who Might Not Play For BYU: Defensive end Graham Rowley questionable (ankle), linebacker Ezekiel Ansah questionable (knee), defensive lineman Romney Fuga questionable (knee).

Who Might Not Play For TCU: James Dunbar probable (eligibility).

BCS/Top 25 Implications: Both teams are on top of their respective conferences, which means that they both have BCS hopes. The loser of this game is really going to take a hit, though.

What They're Saying:

Jay Drew of the South Lake Tribune writes about the fact that BYU is returning to Cowboys Stadium, the scene where they beat No. 3-ranked Oklahoma by a point.

Jay Drew of the South Lake Tribune also writes about TCU's "reign of terror" over the BYU cougars football program. The Horned Frogs have beet BYU by an average of 34-6 in the past three years.

BYU Player to Watch: Senior running back JJ Di Luigi  is a leader of this team and is going to step up his play big-time against the rival Horned Frogs.

TCU Player to Watch: Sophomore quarterback Casey Pachall on the other hand has put up 17 touchdowns compared to only four interceptions this season. He's the key to the Horned Frogs' offense.

Key Matchup: BYU's defense is going to have to step up against Pachall and TCU if they want to be able to stay in the game.

On the Hot Seat: BYU football as a whole is on the hot seat. They cannot beat TCU.

Prediction:

TCU will continue their streak of dominance against BYU.

TCU: 34 BYU: 6
