Week 8 Fantasy Football Start Em Sit Em: Christian Ponder and QBs You Must Start
Minnesota Vikings rookie quarterback Christian Ponder played pretty well against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday in his first ever NFL start.
Ponder is helped by having a good running game led by Adrian Peterson to back him up, and has the talent to be a quality starting QB for many years to come.
Ponder is one of several quarterback you should take a chance on and start this week. Let's look at three of those players.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
1) Matt Cassel
Matt Cassel has improved his play since the Kansas City Chiefs started off the season so terribly, and is starting to get the passing game back on track.
He has a number of quality weapons at wide receiver such as Dwayne Bowe and Steve Breaston, and now has a legitimate rushing game as well.
Cassel plays the San Diego Chargers this week, who were beaten by Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez in Week 7, and Cassel will be able to put up good stats against them.
Start Cassel this week as a normal starting QB or as a bye-week replacement.
2) Joe Flacco
Despite playing an awful game against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Monday night, you must start Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco against the dreadful Arizona Cardinals this week, who are just 1-5 on the season.
Flacco has had a good season, but he's been inconsistent in a fantasy sense. Against the weak Cardinals defense, Flacco should return to his excellent form, and will likely throw for 250 or more yards with multiple touchdowns.
Flacco is a safe start this week.
3) Christian Ponder
Christian Ponder played pretty well against the defending Super Bowl champion Green Bay Packers on Sunday in his first ever NFL start, and should be a good fantasy option now and in the future.
Ponder can set up the passing game with running back Adrian Peterson, who is playing very well of late. Ponder also has decent offensive weapons around him, and will continue to get better with each week.
Against the Carolina Panthers this week who are 2-5, Ponder will not face the kind of defensive pressure he faced last week against the Packers, and as a result his stats will improve.
