Week 8 Fantasy Football Start Em Sit Em: Tim Tebow and QBs You Must Bench

Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow made his first start on Sunday against the Miami Dolphins and led his team to victory, but he won't have that same success with your fantasy football team.

Tebow is not a good fantasy quarterback, and should not be started for your fantasy team in Week 8 of the NFL season.

Let's look at three quarterbacks you must not start this week if you want to have a successful fantasy performance this Sunday.

1. Tim Tebow 

Tim Tebow is a good quarterback, but he will not lead your fantasy team to the promised land. His stat lines are not good, and he's never going to throw for over 250 yards or rush for 100 in a game. 

He's also not going to be a touchdown machine. Tebow isn't a terrible option for people who play in leagues that start two quarterbacks and need a bye week replacement, but he is not a long term option to start on your team.

Don't start Tebow unless you have to; he won't produce the stats you need from the quarterback position.

2. Matt Moore

Matt Moore got the start for at quarterback for the Miami Dolphins on Sunday against the Broncos and played decently well, but had two fumbles and did not throw for too many yards.

Moore is a pretty good player who is a bye week replacement at the most, and should not be started unless you are desperately looking for a starting quarterback.

The Dolphins haven't won a game, and Moore has little offensive weapons to work with, so do not start him this week.

3. Colt McCoy

Colt McCoy is playing the talented San Francisco 49ers defense this week, and without a consistently good rushing attack with Peyton Hillis, the 49ers will come after McCoy and pressure him all game.

Without any threatening weapons on offense, McCoy will struggle mightily against the 49ers and won't produce many yards or touchdowns for your fantasy team.

Do not start McCoy this week; he has a bad matchup and has very little talent around him.
