NFL Power Rankings Week 8: Why Lions and Ravens Will Sink No Further
Two teams that could certainly receive a shot in the arm are the Detroit Lions and the Baltimore Ravens. Week 8 is here to cure what ails them.
Two teams that seemed destined to do no wrong mucked up their recent games something fierce. The Detroit Lions managed to lose to the Atlanta Falcons and create a scandal along the way.
Ndamukong Suh is in the middle of another "is he or isn't he dirty" scandal. I would much rather concentrate on the burning question: Are they or are they not contenders?

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The Baltimore Ravens had the unenviable task of being embarrassed on national TV. They couldn't mount any amount of offense whatsoever against the Jaguars on Monday night.
We now have to ask which Ravens team is the real McCoy headed into Week 8. I am confident that the Jaguars disaster was the real outlier.
1. Detroit Lions
The Lions get the perfect thing to get them over the midseason hump: Tim Tebow. Tebow can be a winner all he wants; he still has issues with passing accuracy.
The same devastating pass rush the Falcons whined about will be coming for Tebow's head. Look for a great many errant passes and questionable decisions.
This game will get ugly, but only for the Denver Broncos as they try to figure out how to score with a fullback as their starting quarterback.
2. Baltimore Ravens
The best way to get over a loss to the Jaguars is to play a team that's worse. The Cardinals have no idea what a red zone is much less being able to score within one.
The Ravens still have a top-class defense. I am confident the offense will rebound after the Monday night embarrassment.
An awful Week 7 will be cured by a little bit of home cooking and a whole lot of bad football by the Arizona Cardinals.
