Tony Romo: Twitter Reaction to Cowboys QB Spilling Beans About Wife's Pregnancy

One moment Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo is addressing students at Cedar Hill High School's Red Ribbon drug prevention campaign, the next he's revealing his new wife, Candice Crawford is pregnant.

Talk about a head turner.

When a teen asked Romo whether he had any children on Tuesday in Cedar Hill, Texas, Romo calmly replied, via Fox Sports, "I got one on the way. My wife's pregnant."

Of course, once the report hit, the news spread like wildfire throughout Twitter, our latest source of knee-jerk reactions.

There were the custom "congratulations," but, well, let's just say the general reaction was rather sarcastic and negative. Also hilarious:

One fan, however, thought of it as a sign of good things to come for the Cowboys franchise. Hey, it may take 25 years, but maybe the Cowboys have the next successor to Romo waiting in the wings:

Interestingly enough, rumors surfaced this month that Romo's former girlfriend, pop singer/fashion designer Jessica Simpson, was pregnant after revealing photos surfaced.
