Week 8 Fantasy Football Start Em Sit Em: Reggie Wayne and Overhyped WRs to Bench
We've passed the midway point of the fantasy football season and that means crunch time has arrived. Every decision owners make now has the potential to make or break their entire fantasy year. To help you out during this critical time, here are three wide receivers to leave on the bench in Week 8.
Eric Decker – Denver Broncos
Decker was one of Denver's main targets when Kyle Orton was running the show but, if last week was any indication, that won't be the case with Tim Tebow under center. The second-year wideout seen just three targets.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
It's hard to see his numbers getting better against the Detroit Lions, who have only allowed four touchdown catches by opposing wide receivers all season. It's time to remove Decker from your lineup until the transition in Denver is complete and his role is more clear.
Week 8 Projection: Two fantasy points
Percy Harvin – Minnesota Vikings
Harvin has been dealing with a nagging rib injury and his status for Week 8 is up in the air while he tries to recover. Even if he were to suit up on Sunday, he should remain on your bench because he has only scored 10 points or more once all year.
As if he needed more bad news, he's also going up against the Carolina Panthers. The Panthers rank sixth against fantasy receivers and haven't allowed one to catch a touchdown since Week 3. All signs point to another disappointing performance from Harvin.
Week 8 Projection: Three fantasy points
Reggie Wayne – Indianapolis Colts
There were some concerns about Wayne's value heading into the season without Peyton Manning leading the Colts offense. After scoring 16 points in the first game, he's basically done nothing since, proving those worries were well founded.
He hasn't made more than five catches since that opening week outburst and is stuck on one touchdown. Pierre Garcon seems to have become Curtis Painter's favorite target, making Wayne a fringe fantasy starter in all formats. Only utilize Wayne if you are desperate this week.
