NFL Power Rankings Week 8: Pittsburgh Steelers and Overrated Teams Who Will Fall
Week 8 of the NFL season is going to be when we learn who the real contenders are, and who is just pretending.
Well—we will learn about a few teams that we have questions about, at least.
Not every team is playing an opponent who will give them problems, so it is best to focus on the important games.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
It is never easy to label a team as overrated, because that means they aren't living up to our own lofty expectations of the team and we hate to be wrong about things.
The sad reality of the situation is that there are not a lot of good teams in the league this year. There are plenty of teams that have good records, but that is more a product of who they have played than anything that they have done.
Here are three overrated teams that will be exposed in Week 8 (no, I am not purposefully picking on the AFC North).
Pittsburgh Steelers (5-2)
The Steelers might be the softest 5-2 in the NFL. I don't mean the way they play is soft—we know that they are one of the most physical teams in the league. But the teams that they have beaten are, for lack of a more Internet-friendly term, terrible.
They have beaten Seattle, Tennessee, Jacksonville, Indianapolis and Arizona. Those five teams have a combined record of 8-24.
This week, they host the New England Patriots. For whatever reason, the Steelers have not had much success against Bill Belichick (not that they are alone in that regard), and there is no reason to think that things will get better in this game.
Cincinnati Bengals (4-2)
The Bengals have shattered expectations already this season by winning four games, and there is some talk of this team making it into the playoffs.
The defense certainly is good enough to get them there, but they have had a soft schedule so far and Andy Dalton is going to have a few down games along the way.
Seattle, who they play in Week 8, is a better team than you might think, and the defense will make life hard on Dalton.
The absence of Cedric Benson, who is serving a one-game suspension, will be too much for the offense to overcome.
This team is headed in the right direction, but they are not ready to compete for a playoff spot this season.
Baltimore Ravens (4-2)
The Ravens are an enigma. They beat the Steelers by 28 points in Week 1, then lost by 13 to the Titans the next week. They beat the Jets and Texans by a combined score of 63-31, then lose to the Jaguars on Monday Night Football.
You would think they have a guaranteed win this week against Arizona, but what's to stop them from laying another egg?
The Cardinals have the ability to put up a lot of points, though Beanie Wells's absence does hurt. Larry Fitzgerald is going to get the ball early and often against the Ravens' defense, and they will pull off the upset.
