NFL Power Rankings: Chiefs Lead Charge of Teams with Most Momentum in Week 8
Believe it or not, the Kansas City Chiefs are very much in the hunt for the playoffs again this year.
Despite the absence of their two best players (Jamaal Charles and Eric Berry) the Chiefs have found a way to claw back into contention.
They are not the only team riding the wave of momentum into Week 8, though.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The Green Bay Packers, winners of their first seven games, are on a bye this week but several other teams have strung together winning streaks of at least three.
Here are the teams with the most momentum in Week 8.
Chiefs (3-3)
Three weeks into the season it looked like the Kansas City Chiefs were dead in the water and possibly joining the "Suck for Luck" race. Jamaal Charles, Eric Berry and Tony Moeaki were all injured and lost for the year but the Chiefs caught a break in scheduling.
They beat up the Vikings and Colts (two teams with a combined one win) before their bye week and then went out to Oakland in Week 7 and destroyed the stumbling Raiders.
This week they'll host division rivals San Diego. There is no question that the Chargers are a more talented team, but the Chiefs are actually one win away from tying things up in the AFC West, a division they won last year.
The Chargers are coming off an ugly loss to the Jets are an extremely confusing team. The Chiefs can look to capitalize on this and take an upper hand in the AFC West.
Steelers (5-2)
Traveling to Foxborough this weekend to take on the New England Patriots, the Steelers better hope they can capitalize on their momentum.
No AFC team is more intriguing than the defending conference champion Steelers. None of their five wins have come against a team with a winning record and the their losses happen to be the exact opposite.
But quarterback Ben Roethlisberger appears to be clicking at just the right time.
Big Ben has thrown nine touchdowns and only one interception during the Steelers' three-game win streak.
They will need all that and more if they are to keep up with the high-scoring Patriots.
Broncos (2-4)
This has nothing to do with overall record and everything to do with the man named Tim Tebow.
Not only did he lead the Broncos to victory in Week 1, but he did so in comeback fashion.
Now No. 15 returns home to Denver where the stadium will be electric as the fan base finally gets what they've wanted all along.
The visiting Detroit Lions are reeling on a two-game losing streak and it won't be any easier with the crowd noise in Sports Authority Field at Mile High.
Don't be shocked if this game is much closer than people expect.
