NFL Picks Week 8: Why Steelers and Lions Are in Store for Rousing Wins
Get ready for drama and excitement with a pinch of pizazz. The Steelers and Lions are set to deliver rousing wins during Sunday's most watched affairs.
The past weekend gives us a glimpse into what we can expect come Sunday. Let me tell you that you will want to wake up early and watch every last second of these games.
The Lions take on the Broncos in what will be a highly-touted contest. While I don't agree with the reason, it will be hyped nonetheless.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
With Ndamukong Suh getting the dirty-player title, every hit and pass-rush he is involved with will be weighed and measured. If he lays a hand on the nation's most beloved quarterback in Tim Tebow, all hell will break loose. This game will provide high drama amidst otherwise benign games.
We then have the Patriots and Steelers to watch. Why this isn't the Sunday night game is beyond me. These are two teams that will feature prominently in the postseason, and we will see the better team emerge on Sunday.
1. Pittsburgh Steelers: You are damn right I think the Steelers are a better team right now. That may not be reflected in power rankings or records, but they were far more balanced in the last three games than the Patriots were.
The Steelers are back on track as far as their offense. The one thing that has me worried for the Patriots is their secondary. I can't see how that awful of a pass defense can continue without being exploited.
The Steelers have the pass defense to stifle Tom Brady just enough to get what should be a very close win.
2. Detroit Lions: We will hear a great deal about this matchup all week. The reason is simple: Tim Tebow. This will be a popular-by-association kind of thing, as the Lions get buzz ahead of Tebow's next start.
We can forget all the emotion that the Broncos QB brings. The fact is, he looked shaky in his first start of the season. With the Lions pass-rush, the issue will be exacerbated.
If you thought his throws were errant last Sunday, you haven't seen a thing yet. Tebow may be a winner, just not this Sunday.
