Week 8 Waiver Wire: Maurice Morris and More Sleeper Flex Options
We've reached the point in the NFL season where injuries are beginning to mount and bye weeks are regularly taking star players out of a fantasy owner's lineup. That makes finding flex spot options on the waiver wire even more important. Here are three sleepers to consider for Week 8.
Demaryius Thomas
Thomas showed a good rapport with new Denver Broncos starting quarterback Tim Tebow and has a chance to become the No. 1 receiver with Brandon Lloyd gone. Tebow targeted him 10 times, so don't be put off by his low catch total, as it should improve in the coming weeks.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
He's especially intriguing for Tebow owners who could be looking to have the connection. The Broncos lack depth at wide receiver, so Thomas should have no problem catching at least five touchdowns between now and the end of the season.
Week 8 Projection: Eight fantasy points
Antonio Brown
Even though Brown hasn't found the end zone yet this season, he's carving out a nice niche in the Pittsburgh Steelers offense. He caught seven passes for over 100 yards and was targeted nine times against the Arizona Cardinals.
Pittsburgh takes on the Patriots next week in a game that has all the makings of a shootout, which is always good for fantasy players. It's only a matter of time before Brown starts finding the end zone, at which point his value will skyrocket.
Week 8 Projection: Nine fantasy points
Maurice Morris
Jahvid Best's status is still up in the air, and Morris will remain the biggest beneficiary in the Detroit Lions offense. He only received nine carries against Atlanta as Detroit struggled to keep up with the resurgent Falcons, but that number should increase if he gets another start.
Morris outperformed Keiland Williams and gives Matthew Stafford a more well-rounded back to work with since he can make plays out of the backfield. He should have a big game against the Broncos defense (119 rushing yards per game) if he starts again on Sunday.
Week 8 Projection: 11 fantasy points
