Week 8 Waiver Wire: Bernard Scott and RBs to Pick Up as Bye Week Replacements
Week 8 in the 2011 NFL season will feature many teams with talented rosters on bye weeks.
The Green Bay Packers, Chicago Bears, Atlanta Falcons, Oakland Raiders, New York Jets and Tampa Bay Buccaneers all have the week off.
This is going to cause some commotion in fantasy football leagues, especially at the running back position.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
With top performers like Matt Forte, Darren McFadden and Michael Turner off the field, there will be a scramble on the waiver wire for running backs.
But who should be picked up?
Here are three running backs to snag off the waiver wire as bye week replacements.
Knowshon Moreno (Denver Broncos)
With Tim Tebow starting at quarterback for the Broncos, the team is going to focus a lot more on running in the coming weeks.
The 183 rushing yards for the team against the Dolphins were far above their marks thus far this season.
After a poor start to his career, Moreno was benched behind Willis McGahee this season.
McGahee is now down with a broken hand, meaning Moreno will be getting the bulk of the carries for at least one week.
The Broncos play the Lions this weekend. I'm not too sure that Tebow can pull out another miracle, but this team should be able to run the ball well. It's been the Lions' weakness all year.
Benard Scott (Cincinnati Bengals)
The Cincinnati Bengals have been one of the surprise teams this year, off to a 4-2 start behind rookie quarterback Andy Dalton.
Truthfully, the Bengals have leaned on their tough defense and running game so far this season.
They will continue with that formula this weekend, but it will be a different running back getting the start.
Bernard Scott will replace Cedric Benson, who is on a one-game suspension, for this weekend's game against the Seahawks.
The Seahawks have a tough rushing defense, but that won't stop Cincinnati from trying to run. Scott may not even eclipse 100 yards, but he will get a lot of carries, making for a lot of opportunities.
Delone Carter (Indianapolis Colts)
The Indianapolis Colts are the laughingstock of the NFL after last night's 62-7 beating they took against the New Orleans Saints.
The one, very minor, bright spot of the game for Indianapolis was rookie running back Delone Carter.
Carter played in place of an injured Joseph Addai. On 10 carries, Carter had 89 yards and a touchdown.
The 0-7 Colts take on the Tennessee Titans this weekend. The Titans were just dominated by Arian Foster Sunday.
It's not even clear at this point if Carter or Addai will get the start, but if you are desperate for a replacement, he is a guy to consider.
