Week Six NBA Pickups
Guards
Jose Juan Barea (Mavericks)
Barea scored a season-high 21 points against the Hawks on Saturday. He has played at least 30 minutes in his past two games with G/F Josh Howard sidelined with an ankle injury. In three games last week, Barea averaged 18 points and four assists.
Lou Williams (76ers)
Williams has scored 15,16 and 13 points off the bench in his past three games. He also has four three-pointers and four steals in that span. He has played at least 20 minutes in three of his past six games as a key reserve for Philly.
Luke Ridnour (Bucks)
Ridnour averaged 11 points and six assists last week. In his past seven games he has 10 steals with seven three-pointers made. He also has played at least 31 minutes in three of his past four games.

Forwards
Renaldo Balkman (Nuggets)
Balkman got his first start of the season on Saturday when F Kenyon Martin sat out with a sprained wrist. The former Knick scored 17 points, grabbed six rebounds, had three steals, and a blocked shot. He played 31 minutes and head coach George Karl must be pleased with his energy.
Carl Landry (Rockets)
Landry has had 17 rebounds and 18 points in his past two games. He has played at least 23 minutes in eight of his past nine games and is shooting 55 percent from the field and 86 percent from the foul line on the season.
Jared Jeffries (Knicks)
Jeffries returned to the Knicks' lineup on Friday after missing the first 18 games due to a leg injury. In his first game back against the Hawks, he had seven rebounds and a steal in 16 minutes. He played 22 minutes against the Pistons last Sunday and could also gain center eligibility.

Centers
Chris Anderson (Nuggets)
Anderson is averaging five rebounds and 2.6 blocked shots over his past six games. He is third in the NBA with 2.3 blocked shots in just 16 minutes per game.
Dan Gadzuric (Bucks)
Gadzuric is averaging eight rebounds and 1.8 blocked shots in past five games. He scored a season-high 11 points and pulled down 14 rebounds against the Bulls last Wednesday with C Andrew Bogut out with a knee injury.
Kurt Thomas (Spurs)
Thomas pulled down seven rebounds and blocked a shot against the Warriors on Saturday. He starts at center for the Spurs and can be a good source for cheap rebounds.
