Week 8 Waiver Wire: Kregg Lumpkin and 5 Injury Replacements to Consider
There were several important injuries on the fantasy football front in Week 7, which means a trip to the waiver wire in Week 8 for owners in search of replacements.
Let's breakdown the key injuries from Week 7 and who their replacements will likely be moving forward:

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Replacement: RB Kregg Lumpkin
Graham tore his Achilles tendon in the Bucs loss to the Bears in London, which may signal the end of his NFL career. LeGarrette Blount remains on the shelf for Tampa Bay.
Lumpkin is next line, and he carried the ball eight times for 15 yards against Chicago on Sunday. He's worth a look in 12-man leagues for teams in need of an emergency starter.
Injured: Washington Redskins RB Tim Hightower
Replacement: RB Roy Helu
Mike Shanahan's running back wheel landed on Hightower in Week 7, but it appears as if he tore up his knee against the Panthers and will miss the season. Helu and Ryan Torain remain, but it's likely that Torain is already gone in your league.
With one less man in the running back rotation, it's only a matter of time before Helu's chance arrives.
Injured: Detroit Lions QB Matthew Stafford
Replacement: QB Shaun Hill
Stafford is having an MRI this week, so we'll know in short order how injured his knee and ankle are. In the meantime, it might be worth picking up Hill as a handcuff in case Stafford has to miss time.
Hill proved to be a plenty capable backup last season and knows the Lions offense. He's far from Stafford's level, but Hill can produce numbers.
Injured: Denver Broncos RB Willis McGahee
Replacement: RB Knowshon Moreno
McGahee's hand injury initially wasn't believed to be serious, but we learned after the Broncos comeback win that the hand was in fact broken. A timetable hasn't been set for McGahee's return, but it'd be wise to pick up Moreno from the waiver wire if he's still available.
With Tim Tebow continuing to start in Denver, the run game is always going to be option No. 1.
Injured: Washington Redskins WR Santana Moss
Replacement: WR Anthony Armstrong
Moss also broke his hand on Sunday, and it's an injury that could take up to a month to fully heal. With Moss on the sidelines, Anthony Armstrong could re-establish himself as a go-to guy for the Redskins. The quarterback situation is dicey in Washington, but Armstrong can make big plays down the field.
