BCS Rankings: Texas A&M Aggies and Teams That Can't Afford to Lose in Week 9
College football continues to heat up, and as teams begin to play some of their hardest games of the season, they can't afford to lose this Saturday.
The BCS rankings mean entirely too much in college football, but it's something fans and teams have to deal with.
The best way to get through it to just win.
Here are three teams that will be in a world of hurt in the BCS should they lose in Week 9.
No. 16 Texas A&M
The Aggies host the Missouri Tigers in what will be a very hard fought game. The Tigers suffered a huge beat down from Oklahoma State last week, whereas the Aggies thrashed Iowa State.
The Tigers will be looking to rebound with a quality win over the Aggies, but Texas A&M really needs to win on Saturday to stay in the hunt for a BCS Bowl. The Aggies have two losses on the season already, and should they lose on Saturday it will be very difficult for Texas A&M to crash the BCS.
No. 15 Wisconsin
The Badgers suffered a heartbreaking loss this past Saturday to Michigan State, but they have a great chance to rebound and beat Ohio State this weekend.
Wisconsin has to play better on the road to prove to everyone they are a legit team this season. The Badgers are still in the hunt to win the Legends division of the Big Ten, as well as reach a BCS bowl game.
However, if they fall to the Buckeyes on Saturday the Badgers' dreams of a great season will be ruined.
No. 6 Stanford
Andrew Luck continues to dazzle, and now he finally gets the chance to take on some really tough competition. Stanford hits the road to take on the USC Trojans this weekend, and it will be up to Luck to win the game since the Trojans are playing extremely well against the run.
Stanford has to win this game or all the hopes of the Cardinal's title run are over. The Cardinal have a relatively week schedule, which means Stanford has to go undefeated. If they lose to USC, then Luck's return to Stanford is ruined.
