Disgusting Behaviour From Arsenal Fans As They Boo Off Their Own Player

Callum D'SouzaDec 8, 2008

As a fan there is always one player in your team that you do not admire as much as the others.

They may not be as talented, their attitude stinks, or you just don't like their hair. But one thing's for certain no matter how much you dislike that player, you certainly do not boo him.

Arsenal fans showed that they are of poor stature as they booed their own player Emmanuel Eboue. It was Eboue's first game back from injury which the Ivorian did not have the highest confidence. Eboue was forced to play out of position at left midfield against Wigan due to the injury of Samir Nasri who was truly missed.

Eboue started the game rather solidly but as the game grew on his form began to drop, with a handful of passes going astray and could have easily resulted in a goal.

Eboue's confidence was starting to drop even lower so Wenger thought he should lower his confidence some more by taking him off. This then resulted in cheers as the Ivorian would have no further part in the match.

Yes Eboue had a bad couple of minutes but to boo him is utterly disgusting, Arsenal are going through a rough patch at the moment and yes it is very frustrating for the Arsenal fan,s but the last thing to do is boo your own player and lower his confidence.

Are we not all human, don't we all make mistakes, several bad passes is bad but for a player who has just come back from a niggling ankle injury you can not expect him to be magical.

Thankfully a mis-hap in the Wigan defence meant Emmanuel Adebayor could get a shot on goal and score the winner. Arsenal will bounce back and so will Eboue but for now the Arsenal fans just need to keep supporting their club and be optimistic, things will get better and finally:
