Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
In their last three games, the Indianapolis Colts have made Josh Freeman, Matt Cassel and Andy Dalton look like Pro Bowl quarterbacks.
Imagine what they'll make an actual Pro Bowl quarterback look like.
If things go like they should, Drew Brees could throw for 500 yards in this one.
While that's not likely to happen, Brees should still have a huge game at home against an underwhelming Colts secondary. The Colts also only have nine sacks, so despite the impact of Dwight Freeney, they are unlikely to pressure Brees a whole lot.
Curtis Painter, QB
Painter isn't the most exciting quarterback option out there, but the Saints have been beatable in the secondary. New Orleans is giving up the 10th most yards through the air and Painter should have to throw a lot playing from behind.
Throw in the Colts' less than mediocre run game, and the Colts will probably go to the air a lot.
Painter doesn't need to perfect when he has weapons like Pierre Garcon and Reggie Wayne to throw to. It probably won't be the prettiest, but Painter should complete at least one or two big plays to his receivers.
He won't win the game, but he's a serviceable fantasy option.
Jimmy Graham, TE
Drew Brees has a ton of targets, but Graham has established himself as the No. 1 for his quarterback.
Darren Sproles and Marques Colston should also get a bunch of targets, but Graham is easily the most consistent player in this passing game.
He's put together four straight 100-yard games and it wouldn't be surprising if he did it again.
