Cowboys vs. Rams: 5 Halftime Adjustments St. Louis Must Make
The Rams come into this matchup vs the Cowboys looking for their first win. They will have a tough game ahead without their starting QB in Sam Bradford. A.J. Feeley will take over the offense and look to get the first victory of 2011.
The Rams offense has started out slow and will need to get a few TDs to get into the game. Other than the one long run, the Rams defense has been doing an ok job limiting the dangerous Cowboys offense.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
1) Establish the Run
The Rams need to establish Steven Jackson to take the pressure off of A.J. Feeley. The Rams need to avoid being one dimensional without their usual starting QB.
Steven Jackson needs to set the tone for the offense. The Rams need to keep the ball as much as possible to keep the Cowboys' powerful offense off of the field. Outside of the one long run, Steven Jackson has been limited.
2) Force the Cowboys to Be One-Dimensional
The Rams need to take away the run and force the Cowboys to beat the Rams through the air. Romo has proven to make mistakes and the rams can capitalize on them.
Turnovers will be key for the offense to get points on the board with a short field to work with. The Rams will need to stop DeMarco Murray from getting in open space.
3) Get A.J. Feeley on Track
With the run game having little success, the Rams need to get the ball to their WRs. A.J. Feeley needs to get on track so the running game can open up.
St. Louis needs to call safe plays that can build the confidence for the rarely used backup. He needs to find Jackson out of the backfield when there is nothing open downfield.
4) No Turnovers
The Rams will need to not have any mistakes in the 2nd half. The Cowboys offense is already dangerous enough to deal with and turnovers will put them in easy scoring position.
Keeping the Rams offense on the field and playing the field position game can keep the Rams in the game in the second half and will give them a good chance to win the game
5) Keep Limiting the Cowboys' WRs
The Rams have done a great job limiting the Cowboys WRs and will need to continue to do so in the 2nd half. Dez Bryant and Miles Austin are always one play away from breaking out.
The Rams need to make sure not to give up the big play through the air. The defense needs the chance to create turnovers and get better field position for the offense.
