Cowboys vs. Rams: 5 Halftime Adjustments Dallas Must Make
The Cowboys come into today's game looking to even up their record with their third win of 2011. Romo will look to have a solid game getting the WRs the ball early and often. Dallas will be without their starting RB in Felix Jones.
The Cowboys have been solid on defense, and the offense has done enough to get a good early lead. The Cowboys will need to have a great second half and limit the mistakes they make.
Here are five things Dallas must do in the second half against St. Louis:

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
1) Keep Stopping the Run
The key to a victory for the Cowboys is make the backup QB A.J. Feeley beat the defense. Keeping the Rams one-dimensional will get the Cowboys offense the ball back faster.
Feeley hasn't started a game since 2007 and will definitely struggle to find the WRs. The Cowboys need to stop the run, forcing the Rams to take shots down the field.
2) More DeMarco Murray
Who needs Felix Jones? After an electric 91-yard run by Murray, Dallas fans can relax about the run game until Jones returns. The Cowboys need to use DeMarco often to help open up downfield throws. Play-action passes should be more effective after Murray's long run.
Murray needs to prove he can carry the load and continue to be effective in the second half.
3) No Mistakes for Romo
Romo needs to manage the game and not have any turnovers. The Rams will stay in the game if the offense gives the Rams a short field to work with. Romo needs to make safe throws and find his talented weapons.
Romo will need to prove his doubters wrong and have a clean game without mistakes.
4) Limit the Penalties
The Cowboys need to limit the penalties and not help the Rams offense move down the field. A few early penalties helped the Rams offense get started, and that will need to be corrected in the second half.
Dallas needs to get the Rams offense in long third downs, where they can unleash their pass rush and can force turnovers.
5) Keep Throwing to Witten
Witten is having early success getting open against the Rams linebackers. Romo needs to keep finding the big target in the second half.
Finding Witten often will free up the outside of the field for Dez and Miles to make big plays.
