Roddy White Video: Watch Falcons WR's Fingertip TD Catch vs. Lions

The Atlanta Falcons drafted Julio Jones to help make their offense more explosive.

With the rookie receiver out of the lineup for the second straight week, Matt Ryan and Roddy White decided to remind everyone that they are still one of the top QB-WR duos in the league.

The Falcons are in the locker room at halftime with a 17-6 lead because Roddy White and Matt Ryan are still really good.

On a second-and-six play from the Lions' 18-yard line, Ryan lofted one up into the back right corner of the end zone where White used his trademark speed to get underneath it and managed to snag the ball with only a few fingertips.

He also didn't have to leave his feet and managed to drag his toes for the score.

White now has 37 catches on the season, but that was only his third touchdown.

Atlanta has had trouble on the road this season, but they look much better today.

The touchdown came just at the end of the first half and the Falcons need more play like this if they expect to hold off the Lions.

Detroit is notorious for late-game pushes and they somehow find a way to make things happen when urgency is involved. 

Atlanta and Detroit are both firmly entrenched in the NFC playoff picture and this is a matchup we could certainly see again.

If White continues to make plays like this the Falcons will feel much more comfortable on the road.

Matt Ryan looks to be getting comfortable for the first time this season and we should expect to see more plays like this one.
