Tim Tebow: Broncos Being Careful with Young QB in First Start
The always polarizing Tim Tebow is being coddled by the Broncos coaching staff in his first start of the year, as they are being very cautious with their play calling.
Tebow has only thrown five times in the first half, completing three for 24 yards. He was running the ball very well until he fumbled late in the second half.
He has made a few solid throws, but his somewhat hideous mechanics have also been on display.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Right before the two minute warning, Tebow over threw a wide open Knowshon Moreno, who was just five yards ahead of him. In order to be a successful NFL quarterback, you have to make accurate throws when guys are wide open. Especially when they are that close to you.
That play exemplified why the Broncos are being so tentative with Tebow in this game. Tebow is an excellent leader, but his pure quarterback skills are highly questionable at this point.
Denver's coaching staff is obviously aware of that and their gameplan is to limit Tebow's throws as much as possible.
Unfortunately, the Dolphins defense has keyed in on the run, leaving their cornerbacks in single coverage and daring Tebow to make a play with his arm.
If the Broncos are to have any offensive success in the second half, Tebow is going to have to make some throws down field. That's the only way to free up some running room for Moreno and Willis McGahee.
Tebow's job was made more difficult when the Broncos dealt his best deep threat, Brandon Lloyd, to St. Louis last week.
But regardless of what receivers they have, Denver is going to have to trust Tebow more in the second half.
If they don't, they'll provide Miami with their first win of the season.
