Tim Tebow vs. Terrelle Pryor: Which Controversial QB Has Brightest Future?
Tim Tebow and Terrelle Pryor are different players and very different people, but still have some similarities. Both players had a ton of success at the college level, are considered dual-threat quarterbacks and have cloudy futures.
This weekend, Tebow is making his first start of the season, while Pryor is expected to also make his season debut. For Tebow, this is what he hopes is the start of a long and successful run as the Broncos starting quarterback. Pryor is just hoping to see some snaps, likely in a Wildcat role.
Who has the brighter future? This is a tough question to answer, but I feel that Pryor actually has the brighter future. I am sure this won't be a popular statement, but I have more than a few thoughts to back up this idea.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
First, Pryor was selected by the Oakland Raiders with the idea of keeping him at quarterback. He was brought in because of his upside and potential. Pryor has the physical abilities to be a very good NFL quarterback.
Hue Jackson is known for his ability to develop young quarterbacks. He was instrumental in the development of Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco. Jackson is focused on winning football games, but will no doubt spend some extra time with Pryor.
Tebow is in a much tougher situation. He is on a roster where the head coach is a defensive-minded individual. John Fox has no ties to Tim Tebow, as he wasn't present when he was drafted.
Typically, when new coaches are brought in they like to add their own quarterback. Tebow's unique ability will likely warrant a love/hate relationship from the coach.
Pryor is on a football team that is devoid of another young quarterback option. He is that young developmental quarterback. Oakland lacks the upcoming draft picks to really consider bringing in another developmental quarterback.
The Raiders management is committed to the long-term success of Pryor, where Tebow is stuck trying to win over his current coaching staff.
Finding success in the NFL has a lot to do with your team situation. I am not sure that Tebow is in the best situation to succeed.
I have my concerns with Tebow's game, but feel in the right situation he could be successful. However, I don't think he will find success in Denver. Unfortunately, I don't see Tebow getting many opportunities if he fails in Denver.
This could legitimately be his only shot to win a long-term starting job.
