Week 7 Fantasy Football Projections: Cam Newton and QBs That Will Disappoint
NFL quarterbacks have put up some ridiculous numbers this season, but you certainly shouldn't expect your QB to throw for 300 yards every game. Here are three signal-callers that will put up some unimpressive numbers in Week 7
Cam Newton
I was initially skeptical about Newton's pro potential, but the kid has swayed me.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
I don't care how often your team throws or how low your completion percentage is. If you're a rookie and the only guys with more passing yards than you are Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers and Drew Brees, that's damn impressive.
That said, I'm not expecting huge numbers from Newton in Week 7.
Newton has to face the Washington Redskins and their suffocating defense. The Redskins have allowed just four passing touchdowns this season (tied for second in NFL) and are only giving up 215 passing yards per game (ninth in NFL).
Newton will have plenty more big statistical performance this year. Just don't expect one of them to occur today.
The San Diego Chargers are 4-1, but Philip Rivers has more interceptions (seven) than touchdowns (six) this season.
This week, Rivers shouldn't be expecting to pad his touchdown numbers, as he faces Darrelle Revis and the New York Jets secondary.
The Jets have the best pass defense in the league. They've only allowed three touchdowns on the season and are only giving up 200 passing yards per game.
Look for Rivers to struggle in Week 7.
At this point in the season, I would hope you have already given up on K-squared. If you haven't, this is the week to do it.
Kolb has three interceptions and zero touchdowns in his last two games. This week, he has to face the frightening Pittsburgh Steelers defense.
The Steelers have allowed the fewest passing yards this season (157.7 per game) and will be licking their chops every time Kolb drops back.
Sunday will be a nightmare for Kolb.
