NFL Picks Week 7: Chargers vs. Jets and Spreads to Avoid at All Cost
Every week in the NFL there are spreads which need to be avoided like the plague. Whether it be due to suspicious betting lines, injury concerns or just a gut feeling, certain games just aren't worth the risk. Here are three games like that in Week 7.
Chicago Bears at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (in London)
The Buccaneers are coming off a big win against the New Orleans Saints and have won four of their last five games. The Bears have lost three of their past five games. So, how is Chicago a one-point favorite in London?

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Tampa Bay proved last week that they can create offense even without LeGarrette Blount and Josh Freeman is coming off his best game of the season. Obviously, the oddsmakers are seeing something that the casual fan isn't.
And for that reason alone, you need to avoid this game.
Denver Broncos at Miami Dolphins
Tim Tebow returning to Florida and making his first start of the season. The Broncos trading Brandon Lloyd to the St. Louis Rams. Matt Moore under center for the Dolphins. Those are just some of the crazy variables associated with this game.
When it comes to placing wagers, you want as few moving parts as possible. It will be an interesting game to watch, but it's one to avoid when it comes to betting because everything you think you understand about this game will probably be proven wrong before halftime.
Not to mention, games with controversial players like Tebow are why Vegas is rolling in the dough since people bet with their hearts instead of their minds.
San Diego Chargers at New York Jets
The San Diego Chargers haven't been playing as well as their record indicates. They are only 4-1 because of a weak schedule prior to the bye. As for the Jets, they have looked terrible so far, but have enough talent to turn it around any given week.
Philip Rivers hasn't been playing up to his usual MVP standards and will find it tough to get back on track against a Jets secondary that is still among the league's best. If New York's offense can show any semblance of consistency, they could very well cover the spread (Jets, -1).
The oddsmakers consider it a toss-up game and that's why you should avoid it on Sunday. There is far better value on the board.
