WWE Vengeance 2011: Complete Card for Sunday Night's PPV

Kaleb KelchnerOct 22, 2011

WWE Vengeance 2011 is upon us, and with it comes a stacked eight match card.

There was plenty of speculation leading up to the event in regards to what matches would be made, but it appears that the entire pay-per-view has been announced rather than leaving any surprises.

The complete card looks like this:

TOP NEWS

WRESTLING: OCT 02 AEW Dynamite/Rampage Pittsburgh
Monday Night RAW
  • Alberto Del Rio (c) vs. John Cena in a Last Man Standing Match for the WWE Championship
  • Mark Henry (c) vs. Big Show for the World Heavyweight Championship
  • CM Punk & Triple H vs. The Miz & R-Truth
  • Dolph Ziggler (c) vs. Zack Ryder for the United States Championship
  • Randy Orton vs. Cody Rhodes
  • Sheamus vs. Christian
  • Air Boom (c) vs. Dolph Ziggler and Jack Swagger
  • Beth Phoenix (c) vs. Eve Torres for the Divas Championship

There's a total of eight matches, with five titles on the line, and three major non-title bouts.  Vengeance lacks "big event" hype, but the card looks like it can certainly be worth the purchase.

What immediately stands out is the tag team match featuring CM Punk and Triple H taking on "Awesome Truth."  Will the partnership between Punk and Triple H last through this one match, or will they be at each others throats once again when the dust settles?

Also, Zack Ryder is getting a shot at a sanctioned WWE championship in his match with Dolph Ziggler.  Honestly, it's great to see that his self-promotion has paid off, and I expect him to win the title Sunday night.

As for the headliner, I'm not sold on the match or the stipulation.  The potential for another John Cena title victory is enough to make me watch, if only to make sure if I need to bring riot gear to my Raw live blog on Monday.

So, what is it Bleachers?  Buy, or pass when it comes to Vengeance?
