Summary: Kansas City dominated Oakland in every aspect of the game. A great effort from the entire Chiefs team, and a dreadful performance for the Raiders quarterbacks.

Today will mark the 104th meeting between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Oakland Raiders.

A lot of eyes have been on the Raiders during the past seven days. Jason Campbell broke his collarbone last week against the Cleveland Browns and there was a lot of speculation that the Raiders would seek a new quarterback, with Kyle Boller being their top quarterback on the depth chart.

The Raiders were in negotiations with the Cincinnati Bengals and acquired Boller’s Pac-10 rival, Carson Palmer.

Palmer did not participate in voluntary practices during the lockout as a Bengal, nor did he attend training camp or any official practices with the Bengals. Palmer has been given five days to learn a new offense.

There are pros and cons to starting Boller and Palmer, but regardless of who gets the call to start, the Raiders will need to win this game with their running backs.

Although the Chiefs are without a rushing touchdown, we could see them at .500 after starting 0-3 if they come away victorious.

The Chiefs have picked up back-to-back wins over the Minnesota Vikings and the Indianapolis Colts. The Chiefs are coming off of a much needed bye week to prepare for a team more challenging than the Vikings and Colts.
