Week 7 Fantasy Football Projections: Nate Washington and Top Fantasy Flex Gold

You need to jump on the Tennessee Titans passing game.

Matt Hasselbeck is a top-10 fantasy QB thus far (1,414 yards, nine TDs) and he needs a new top receiver to throw to. With Kenny Britt out for the year, that man has been Nate Washington.

Washington has seven catches for 132 yards since the Britt injury, but expect his role to only increase after the bye week.

The Texans are 13^th against the pass (221 YPG), but have a tendency to give up lots of fantasy points to opposing receivers. In the past two games, the Texans have allowed 231 yards to the opponents No. 1 receiver.

Expect Washington to receive around 10 targets, with about 80 yards and a touchdown to follow.

Other flex plays to consider:

Pierre Garcon at New Orleans Saints

Garcon and Curtis Painter have some serious chemistry brewing and the young wideout has somehow emerged as the top Colts receiver. (My theory: Painter is terrified to throw into the double-coverage Reggie Wayne routinely sees.)

Garcon only had 52 yards last week against the incredibly stout Bengals pass defense (third in NFL, allowing 189 YPG), but still had eight catches.

With all of the throws coming his way, expect the big numbers to continue against a weak Saints secondary (allowing over 250 passing yards a game).

Brandon Marshall vs. Denver Broncos

This one is all about revenge.

Marshall was essentially kicked out of Denver two years ago and this is his first chance at revenge.

While only having one touchdown on the year is incredibly frustrating for owners, he still had 109 yards against Darrelle Revis on Monday.

Expect him to get plenty of looks this week against a Broncos pass defense (22^nd in the NFL) that features a hobbled Champ Bailey.

This will be the week where Marshall finally breaks through for 100 yards and a touchdown.
