Manny Pacquiao Plans on 3rd Fight Against Juan Manuel Marquez Ending in Knockout

Michael MillOct 22, 2011

As much as the world wants to see Manny Pacquiao step into the ring with Floyd Mayweather Jr., it's still up in the air if the fight will ever happen.

There is a fight scheduled to happen next month, which could actually prove to be one of the most entertaining in awhile.

On November 12th, Pacquiao is scheduled to take on Juan Manuel Marquez for the third time in his boxing career.

Behind Pacquiao and Mayweather, Marquez could very well be the next best boxer currently in action.

Marquez has a career record of 52-5-1, just a step behind Pacquiao who comes in with a 53-3-2 overall record.

The two have fought twice before. One of the bouts ended in a draw. The more recent ended in a split-decision victory for Pacquiao.

Now the two will meet in the ring for the third time. This time, Pacquiao has made it known that he doesn't plan on letting a decision go to the judges.

Marquez has been the one player throughout Pacquiao's career to consistently give him problems.

Now, Pacquiao is determined to hand Marquez his first knockout defeat in his illustrious 18-year career.

Pacquiao's trainers say that he is way ahead of schedule in training for the fight. There are some minor concerns that they will need to slow things down to make sure Pacquiao doesn't wear down prior to the fight.

Together, the two have combined for 77 career knockouts.

It may not be Pacquiao and Mayweather, but this may be a fight that's actually worth tuning in for.
