WWE Smackdown Report: The Henry, the Morrison and the Ugly
WWE Smackdown continued their recent streak of good episodes tonight. Outside of a few "filler" segments, I enjoyed most of the show. Of course, there is a PPV on Sunday, and that will be one of the most talked about events in the next few days!
With that being said, I am going to try a little bit of a different format for my Smackdown review. As the title shows, I will focus on a couple of different matches/segments but will also touch on a few of the issues I had with the program.

Modern-Day Dream Matches 💭

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
Mark Henry is the best man on WWE TV today. It is getting harder and harder to dispute that. Big Show and Mark Henry will put on a great show this Sunday night. Yes, the outcome at Vengeance is a 100 percent guarantee (Henry leaves with the World title). That doesn't matter.
These two built up their clash, and I am very excited to see what these two can do. They had a great match a few months ago, and I expect another great match on Sunday. Both guys are looking strong, and Henry retaining on Sunday will be a huge moment.
I also enjoyed the entire PPV card hype. Orton and Cody had nice interaction. Sheamus and Christian will put on a nice effort Sunday. Wade defeated Bryan in a very good match as well. Even Del Rio looked good in Mexico.
The Bad
John Morrison got squashed like a bug against Mark Henry. That may have been my favorite moment of the night. Why is this in the bad section then? Very easy! Morrison continues to prove why he is in the spot he is right now. He was out there, and I felt nothing. Nothing about him made me care anymore.
When Mark Henry is on the screen, you notice him. When Heath Slater runs out, you may hate him, but you notice him. Even when Colin Delaney was in WWE, you at least noticed him. Morrison had zero stage presence. That is just downright bad. At last check, his profile is still up at WWE.com.
The other low point was Beth Phoenix and Nattie talking. I am a huge fan of both, but this segment was not very good. I am sorry, but anything other than this could have been better.
The Ugly
After months and months of drama and intrigue. After huge buildup the past few weeks. After the nice, long, amazing promos. After all the anticipation, we got Sin Cara vs. Sin Cara in a Mask vs. Mask match. Wait! There was next to zero hype, and there no big, long feud between the two.
What a disappointment! To have a Mask vs. Mask match in Mexico that meant so little tonight was just disturbing. I am not much into conspiracy theories, but you would almost have to think WWE set these two up to fail here. Something about such a great opportunity just being thrown away with no fanfare seem fishy to me.
Sin Cara beat Sinister Cara, and now we can all move on.
The other ugly aspect of the night was the fact that Dolph Ziggler will be in two matches on Sunday. I am a big fan of his, but I am not a fan of one man having to wrestle twice on PPV. Unless one match is 15 minutes and the other is 30 seconds, I am against this move.
Last but not least, there was very little hype for Triple H and Punk taking on Truth and Miz at WWE Vengeance. That is just not acceptable for a big PPV match!
Those are my thoughts on WWE Smackdown tonight. What are yours? Let me know in the comment section; what are all of your "Good, Bad, Ugly" moments of the night?
